Study of Sex Ration in Hissar District in Haryana

According to census sex ratio is defined as the ratio of female over per thousand males. It is very vital statistics of any census report, because on this statistics whole of family planning and other applied planning of any country or state is depended. It is also an important socio-economic bearing. It is also a social indicator of the equity prevailing between males and females at a given points of time. The Sex –Ratio in Hisar district continuous to be of grave concern as it has declined from 871 female per thousand male in 1951 to 853 female per thousand male in 2001.
