Abstract

The human body is made up of cells, tissues, organs and organ systems. Each system is made up of its own specialized cells, tissues and organs, which in turn work together to perform specific functions. The functions of some systems overlap, while others are unique to a particular body system. The basic parts of the human body are the head, neck, torso, arms and legs.
