Enhancing Security of Network Applications
Keywords:
Socket, TCP, CryptologyAbstract
Global era of network programming growing rapidly comes with challenges of security threats to protect confidential private data from unauthorized hackers for privacy and security reasons. At the core of networking is Socket that offer endpoint to endpoint connection to transmit the data through TCP/UDP protocols and low level Internet Protocol. For secure system design concept of Cryptography is merged with Socket networking. Cryptography Confidentiality assured that data cannot be viewed by unauthorized people, Integrity of data cannot be changed without knowledge and Authentication assures that people you deal with are not impostors.
