Abstract

Selecting the right location for a warehouse or distribution center is a critical decision that can significantly impact the success of a company's supply chain management strategy. Several factors need to be considered when choosing a location, including proximity to customers, transportation infrastructure, workforce availability, real estate costs, tax incentives, environmental factors, and competition. By carefully evaluating each of these factors and how they relate to the company's specific supply chain needs and goals, businesses can make informed decisions and ensure that their warehouse or distribution center is optimally located for efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
