Keywords:
Community Based Forest Management, Forest ConservationAbstract
This research investigates the impact of community based forest management (CBFM) on forest conservation efforts. The study explores how local communities are involved in forest management activities, including tree planting, monitoring, and resource extraction. Fieldwork was conducted in three forest regions where CBFM programs have been in place for over a decade. The findings indicate that community participation enhances forest conservation and biodiversity protection while providing economic benefits through sustainable resource management.
