The novel "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy is widely regarded as a foundational piece of literature all over the world. It is recognised for its expansive narrative and profound investigation of human nature in the midst of the turbulence of war and the search for peace. The purpose of this research paper is to investigate Tolstoy's magnum work, with the objective of elucidating its complex topics and defining its enduring value. Tolstoy's representation of individual agency, the cruelty of war, the elusiveness of peace, and the eternal concerns of human life that are posed within the tale are all examined in this study through the lens of a multidimensional analysis. This article sheds light on the ways in which "War and Peace" provides insights into the human condition that are universally applicable across time and culture. These insights are illuminated by drawing from literary criticism, historical study, and philosophical investigation.
